About GlobalMin Ventures – Focused on Platinum Exploration

GlobalMin Ventures Inc. is a publicly traded (OTC-PK GMVI) Nevada incorporated company which is currently focused on conducting extensive platinum group mineral (PGM) research and exploration on three high-potential project targets consisting of 128,000 acres in 10 Prospecting Licenses in Guyana.

Referred to as the Guyana Platinum Project (GPP), it was originally founded by GlobalMin LLC, a private Nevada company with its JV partner, Mojave Gold Corporation. For a foreign company to operate in Guyana, the government required, they form GlobalMin Guyana Inc., to hold the Exploration Permit while applying to convert the permit into Prospecting Licenses. The Company recently closed in escrow, Agreements with GlobalMin LLC, GlobalMin Guyana Inc., and Mojave Gold Corporation and now controls 100% of the GPP. The public company, GlobalMin Ventures Inc., is the perfect vehicle to bring the GPP to the next level through Private Placement financings.

Guyana Platinum Discovery
While conducting due diligence on potential mining projects for the company, management was introduced to Dr. Paul Lechler, formerly Chief Geochemist of the Nevada Bureau of Mines. Through this association, management learned of Dr. Lechler’s geological research with his partner and mining engineer John Van de Sand and their new discoveries of platinum group minerals in Guyana.

Guyana, a former British colony located in South America, is currently recognized by the world mining community as being very rich in alluvial gold and diamonds but has yet to be recognized for PGMs. Most gold and diamond production has been achieved through river and land dredging operations. Many mining companies are now looking at Guyana to take advantage of mineral-rich sites, which largely remain untouched. With this increased interest, mining sites located deep in the country’s interior, which would have been too expensive to develop historically, may now be commercially profitable with the recent influx of infrastructure development and higher metal prices.

Over the past 14 years, Dr. Paul Lechler has made numerous trips to Guyana, and conducted field research and exploration to investigate Guyana’s geological and mining history and potential. During that time period he obtained a substantial number of geologic samples and then conducted laboratory processing and testing at the University of Nevada at Reno. Through this research and exploration, Dr. Lechler reduced the original permit covering 4.4 million acres, to 3.3 Million acres and then further reduced it to 128,000 acres consisting of 10 Prospecting Licenses. He has documented the presence of potential source areas for alluvial PGMs that are found in downstream sediments which cover three main platinum targets. These three target area discoveries are significant in size and have the potential to host large deposits of PGMs.

Dr. Lechler was led to Guyana by the presence of the rare mineral Potarite (PdHg) that was found in alluvial sediments originally in the 1920’s and favorable geology consisting of greenstone terrain and abundant mafic and ultramafic rocks. Within the Guiana Shield greenstone terrain, a platiniferous layered mafic intrusion is present across the border in Venezuela. It is his belief, that the Kaburi Anorthosite is part of a layered mafic intrusion of the same 2.2 billion-year-old age as the platiniferous Mochila intrusion in Venezuela. Throughout northern Guyana alluvial sediments in places contain abundant platinum, palladium, and minor rhodium, but not ruthenium, osmium, and iridium, indicating that the bedrock source of these alluvial minerals is a layered mafic intrusion, not an alpine ultramafic intrusion. The mineralogy of the Guyana alluvial PGMs includes an abundance of minerals found in the Bushveld’s Merensky Reef, including Rustenburgite, Atokite, and others. Thus, the alluvial PGM mineralogy in Guyana is consistent with the historic “find” at the Bushveld’s Merensky reef.

With Dr. Lechler heading up the exploration, the Company is continuing geological exploration, surveying, and testing of what we believe to be a potential world-class platinum and palladium discovery in Guyana.
